Saturday also saw a fundraiser in the city centre in order to raise funds for Peggy's election campaign. Upwards of 350 people attended the event and a very good night was had by all.
Peggy O'Hara was there with her family and people travelled from near and far to support the event.
- Special thanks must go to Orla and Declan from Belfast who played a taditional set to get the night going. This was much appreciated by the organisors and by Peggy herself.
- Also to Brian and the boys who made the journey from Dublin especially for the event. They presented Peggy's campaign with a banner which was really impressive and also very much appreciated.
